Family or Household Member
Your spouse, parent, grandparent, sibling, child, or a member of your household is already a Member.
Students
You attend a partner school.
Employer
You are an employee or retiree of a participating Sponsor Group.
Affiliate Association
You are a member of a church, club, or association that is a participating Sponsor Group.
Community Area
You live, work, worship, attend school, or conduct business within a designated community area.
American Consumer
Council
Join through a complimentary membership to the ACC – an organization that is dedicated to consumer education, advocacy, and financial literacy.

When you open a business account, you’ll have the opportunity to request that your business become a Sponsor Group allowing you to offer credit union benefits to your employees! From financial products to on-site educational seminars, partnering with us can enhance your benefits package and provide your employees with additional support on their journey to financial wellness.
1To become a member, a savings account with a minimum deposit of $5.00 is required at opening that must be maintained throughout life of the membership. Eligibility: Persons who 1) are an employee, retiree, member or student within one of our sponsor groups; 2) live, work (or regularly conduct business in), worship, or attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities located within our prescribed underserved community in Ohio consisting of 85 census tracts in Lucas and Wood Counties or Philadelphia, Montgomery, Delaware and Berks counties in Pennsylvania (based on address); or 3) join the American Consumer Council via a complimentary membership. Once a member, members of your immediate family or household are also eligible to join Sun Federal CU.
