The Director of eBranch is responsible for the leadership of the eBranch, which includes execution of the business plan, playbook initiatives and eBranch goals. The Director of eBranch oversees the delivery of a full range of services to members and prospective members and ensures that members are promptly and professionally served following Sun Federal service standards and established policies and procedures. Develops a highly engaged work team, including training, coaching and supervision. Oversees iMSR manager, eBranch Deposit Manager, and eBranch Lending Manager. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Employee must effectively carry out the following essential duties and responsibilities of this position in a manner that consistently demonstrates Sun Federal’s mission, values and culture. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. The Director of eBranch is directly responsible for overseeing the following:
    1. Inbound loan calls – such as routine service and for lending needs;
    2. Online loan applications for consumer and mortgage lending;
    3. Credit Union Student Choice program;
    4. Indirect auto lending program (CRIF);
    5. iMSR interactions with members through Harmony (iTMS);
    6. Express account opening (online new accounts);
    7. Deepening member relationships;
    8. Member Outreach Efforts (MORE) to eBranch members; and
    9. Coordinating branch-wide staffing & vacation calendar.
    10. GLIA
    11. Text concierge and other virtual means of member communication
  2. Assumes responsibility for leadership and management of eBranch staff
    1. Ensures execution and development aligned with Sun Federal’s Leadership Competencies which are: Lead People, Inspire Others, Think Critically, Communicate Clearly, and Develop People.
    2. Coordinates all member service activities for the eBranch.
    3. Executes business plan initiatives relevant to the eBranch.
    4. Establishes individual goals for staff based on eBranch goals.
    5. Holds team members accountable for results, including required competencies, service behaviors, policies and procedures.
    6. Provides effective feedback through coaching and timely performance appraisals.
    7. Communicates eBranch and Credit Union business plan and strategies to staff through: quarterly reviews, staff meetings, ongoing tactical & developmental one-on-ones and weekly link-ups.
    8. Responsible for selecting team members, engagement, coaching, development and managing talent.
  3. Assumes responsibility for eBranch bottom-line.
    1. Manages eBranch budget, and strategy execution and expenses.
    2. Responsible for attaining eBranch goals such as loan growth, share growth, member engagement, and delinquency.
  4. Responsible for the performance of eBranch operation.
    1. Ensures that operations are conducted in accordance with established Credit Union policies and with legal and regulatory requirements.
    2. Conducts follow-up for audits (i.e. Accounting, NCUA, CUMIS, BSA, etc.) and completes response in a timely manner. Resolves issues with training/coaching.
    3. Gathers information to make sound decisions including loan underwriting and check approval.
    4. Ensures eBranch Cross-Training Matrix (CTM) is up to date and that training of back-ups is completed.
  5. Responsible for overseeing the following branch-wide activities
    1. A member of the Loan Review Committee (LRC).
    2. Provides back-up support for the Chief of Retail.
    3. Oversees weekly Wednesday morning meeting schedule

Qualification Requirements

Education/Certification: Bachelor degree in Business. Ability to maintain current NMLS #.

Required Knowledge: Understanding of the Credit Union’s field of membership. Thorough knowledge of Credit Union services and products. Understanding of related legal and regulatory requirements. Thorough understanding of Branch functions, policies, and procedures.

Experience Required: Five to eight years of related experience in a financial institution, with three to five years of management experience.

Skills/Abilities: Strong interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory skills. Well organized. Ability to operate related computer applications and related business equipment. Attention to detail. Ability to maintain an effective and efficient workflow. Able to perform all duties for eBranch positions.

Average Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

Repetitive Motion: Movements are frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Average Visual Abilities: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products or operate machinery.

Physical Strength: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.

Working Conditions: No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions (such as in a typical office).

Mental Activities And Requirements

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Able to interpret a variety of technical instructions and can deal with multiple variables.

Mathematics Ability: Ability to compute discount, interest, profit, and loss; commission markup and selling price; ratio and proportion and percentage. Able to perform very simple algebra.

Language Ability: Ability to read periodicals, journals, manuals, dictionaries, thesauruses, and encyclopedias. Ability to prepare business letters, proposals, summaries, and reports using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style. Ability to conduct training, communicate at panel discussions and make professional presentations.
