Card Accountant

The Cards Accountant is responsible for performing a variety of professional accounting duties with the principal areas of responsibilities being accounting for all credit card and debit card transactions and expense report administration for the credit union. This position also acts as a resource for managers and the credit union.

Education Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.

Experience Required

One to three years of accounting experience preferred.

Interactive Member Service Representative

The Interactive Member Service Representative (iMSR) is responsible for delivering extraordinary service to members and guest members while processing accurately and efficiently a variety of transactions and inquiries remotely. Adheres to applicable policies and procedures and displays the ability to solve a wide range of problems, think, reason and learn. iMSRs proactively suggest appropriate products and services to enhance and deepening member relationships and consistently demonstrate the “People Caring about People” mission of Sun Federal Credit Union in each member interaction.

Education Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience Required

One to three years of experience in a retail service environment or teller/cashier experience is preferred.

Loan Servicing Specialist – Titles

The Loan Servicing Specialist – Titles is responsible for assisting members with loan-related inquiries, including Payment Protection, GAP, MRC, collateral insurance, vehicle title processing, and other centralized loan servicing requests. This role provides exceptional service to ensure members think of Sun Federal first for all their lending needs. The Specialist also administers collateralized loan title procurement and audit processes, ensuring that titles are received, appropriate forms and fees are collected, liens are perfected in compliance with state requirements, and cross-collateralization is reviewed before lien release at payoff.

Education Qualifications

Associate degree in business or related field or an equivalent combination of formal training and experience.

Experience Required

One to three years of experience in a Credit Union or Financial Institution Lending, Risk or Operations.

New Account Specialist

The New Account Specialist reviews new membership applications through virtual sources and validates regulation requirements to obtain complete and accurate documentation to qualify membership following policy and procedures. Performs tasks varying from additional accounts, transactions, account maintenance and H.S.A./I.R.A. maintenance. Serves membership through the new account and member service call queues including but not limited to, member transactions through inbound calls, problem resolution, cross selling needs-based products and services and transfers to correct area of expertise in other departments. Also, fills in where needed in the member service area of the eBranch.

Education Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience Required

Three to five years of experience in a Financial Institution and/or customer service.
